Verified by design. We check every supervisor’s license by hand against the state’s public lookup, or the city or county lookup, before they appear. Every member confirms their email, and anyone can add an optional ID check. How we verify.
That’s why we welcome future apprentices, people with no hours yet, and why our start-here guide recommends lining up a supervisor before or while you take classes. And we want more women in the trades: you belong here.
What we promise
- No fake listings. Every profile and opening is added by the person or company it describes.
- Sourced rules. State information links to the official board and the source we used. If we couldn’t confirm something, we mark it as pending and never guess.
- Private by default. Your email and phone stay hidden until you accept a match.
- Clear ads. Sponsors are always labeled.
Journeyman Match is an independent site. It is not affiliated with any licensing board, union or trade association.
